I've had an appointment scheduled over a week ago ...

I've had an appointment scheduled over a week ago for two recall items on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My appointment was a drop off for this morning. My service manager, John, was not available at drop off this morning at 7am. I was given his card and told they will call when it was finished.

I coordinated the day with a friend who was off so that he could help me get back and forth to the dealer. We were in the area at 5pm, so I stopped in to check on the repairs.

The service department did nothing with my truck for over 8 hours. They did not even have the truck in the shop. I was given an excuse that they had a big stack of warrenty items to work on today.

My disapointment is that they did not have the courtesy to advise me they were not going to get to it today. It seemed very much that John didn't know he even had the truck.

He offered to have it done tomorrow by noon, but the reality is that I also took today off from work to do this repair. Noon won't help me tomorrow.

I'm also disapointed that the didnt even have the coirtesy to offer a loaner car for their failure to fix my truck that was already scheduled for repair. I shouldn't have to ask, and that is why I didn't.

My lease is over in January and my experience today affirmed that I'm not interested in another Jeep, or any vehicle from the Covert family. They have lost me as a cobtinued customer.
