Dubai World Trade Center is one of the most vibrant and modern areas of Dubai. The center is located near Sheikh Zayed Road in the central commercial and financial district, where the center of Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Center and Business Bay are located. The region plays an essential role in expanding international trade in the Middle East. The center also hosts many exhibitions, festivals, concerts and international conferences.
The Dubai World Trade Center was originally built in 1979 and was called the Sheikh Rashid Tower and was known to be the tallest building at that time, with a height of 149 meters and consisting of 39 floors. The center originally started as a single building, but with advances and additions, it expanded to cover an area of 1.3 million square feet. The center includes 21 exhibition halls and 40 conference rooms on 3 floors, and a number of commercial towers and hotels around it.
