WARNING: if you stay at this hotel during the winter months and it happens to be Unseasonably warm outside, be prepared to have your room feel like a sauna. Apparently the temperature setting that you control in your room is somewhat of a placebo. I was informed that during the winter it blows nothing but heat despite what the display indicates.

The polite and professional gentleman at the front desk Implied to me after I had a terrible night sleep that it was essentially my fault because I didn t call the front desk to complain. They would have instructed me to turn off my AC system and open the window. Apparently it s my bad that I assumed the AC controls in a Luxury brand hotel actually did something.

I m not happy and I regret paying a premium price to stay at the GANSEVOORT; verses the many other hotel options Manhattan had available last night.
