This happened in the winter of 2012 but I will never forget it. Hence, am posting this public review now. I had my cash STOLEN by a MoMA museum bag-check & storage staff. He literally took $260 worth of notes from my bag and when I reported to the manager, he denied it and the manager believed him. He even tried to zip up my bag (poorly) to make it seem like nothing was stolen. Filed a report with the NYPD who did absolutely NOTHING.

So... if you have a tall, big-boned, bald light-skinned Mexican guy (no glasses, has some facial hair) as your bag-check & storage staff. Beware, he is a thief, he will steal your cash and he deserves to be fired. I will never return to this museum ever again (and also rarely ever carry cash ever again).

It is 2019 and I still remember it. NYPD did nothing for 7 years.
