I work at a medical equipment store. Frequently we see people come in that have recently had colostomies, illiostomies, and urostomies. These
people had not been told what size, brand, and
reference number to ask for. They are clueless.
Their doctor or nurse have let them down! Mostly
It is their first time buying a pouch or waffer and they have nothing else and are desperate. Unfortunately we have to turn them away.
