That being said in my 10+ years of eating with City O City to-go or dine-in I have Never received my food in a timely way. There estimates are often off by 20 minutes and as much as I love the food and atmosphere the hassle isn t worth it outside of special occasion. In addition the toast Togo option they have now applies an undisclosed auto gratuity to the tab and asks an additional gratuity on the toast close and when you pick up they present you with another receipt to sign and tip. I am never opposed to tipping generously but I want to know when I m tipping someone and I don t want to be asked two more times to do it after an auto gratuity has already been applied.
