The only reason why this hotel has people staying with them is the location, the staff are robotic and have zero customer service. The thing that really got me was the COMPULSORY resort fee.. which upon check in is explained to you in a extremely deceptive manner. They told me that I can use the f&b facilities at the hotel with a credit of usd 30 per day .. what they dont tell you is that this is not a CREDIT but a compulsory charge added to your bill whether you use the restaurants or not. I didnt use any of the f&b for the simple reason that it is seriously substandard food.. and by the looks of it most people think the same as the restaurant is empty every single night . This is a extremely deceptive way of fleecing and forcing customers to pay for services not used. The Westin shouldn't FORCE customers to use their restaurant nor should they charge customers for not using their restaurants.
