You ll hear most experienced skiers looking for challenging slopes say that Northstar doesn t get them too excited. And that may be true. But as a fun family ski destination for both beginner and more advanced skiers Northstar is hard to beat. Northstar Village has an array of great coffee, pancakes and other eats surrounding an ice skate rink which makes for a fun winters afternoon after the skiing. If you re a family with younger kids, or looking for some fun in the snow without worrying too much about conquering the toughest of moguls, this place is for you. Like most ski destinations these days, however, Northstar can be expensive and after renting ski equipment and buying tickets for the ski lifts you re in for a pretty expensive time.
