This review is based upon my first experience at Barona Resort and Casino, and I'm pleased to say that I have no negative comments! Upon arriving, the valet was polite and helpful, and got the car parked quickly. We went to the front desk to check in with our reservation, where we had an issue with our credit card while attempting to place the deposit for the room. The very kind woman at the front desk (Katherine?) was extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that we would be able to work around the issue with the credit card and get settled into our room as soon as possible. On top of everything else, she was by far the most pleasant person I have ever had to deal with when it came to accommodating my disability to make my stay more comfortable. I travel frequently, and often experience a lot of issues when it comes to hotels accommodating my disability without making me jump through hoops... She did not grill me with a thousand questions, or treat me with any kind of disrespect, she simply requested a few reasonable things regarding the special circumstances, and told us to enjoy our stay. This is the kind of hospitality that everyone should experience when staying at a hotel. The rooms are clean and quiet, the view is great, the water is hot, and the staff is friendly and strong in guest service and satisfaction. I will definitely be returning to Barona in the future to play at the casino and stay in the hotel. Thank you so much to the night staff (especially Katherine) for working through the issues, and making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Keep up the good work!
