Written having spent 3 of 14 nights on a half-board package with TUI.
The hotel is quite large, but set over only three floors and little over 400 rooms. There are three pools, four restaurants and a number of bars, including a beach bar and pool bar.
We are staying in a Premier Double Room with Balcony and Sea View. The view itself is a little obscured due to a few trees, but still passes.
The room is very clean, although we have spotted that we have a little guest staying with us; a small gecko (haven't figured out where he is hiding at the moment...).
The room is well-equipped; c48-inch HDTV, discrete light, alarm and air-conditioning console, JBL clock/speaker, a number of mirrors, walk-in shower and bath, and the usual amenities you'd expect.
Staff are very polite and helpful; a shared trait with the rest of the Thai people.
The hotel has a private beach onto the Andaman Sea, but the bed is quite rocky, so it's recommended to wear water shoes.
There is a shuttle that is free and chargeable (100 baht; depending on the time of day) that will take you into Patong; more specifically Jungceylon shopping center, which is to the Eastern end of the popular Bangla Road.
Will update this as we progress but, so far, so good.
