Took some baked ziti over for the firefighters one day with my granddaughter. Just wanted to run in , say thanks and let them eat, rest etc. They kindly showed her around, let her sit in the truck and gave her a fire teddy bear and hat! Remember them. Someday they may save your life or that of a loved one. I have seen them many times in the past when I visited my mom at Cortona Park. Always awesome, kind and gentle. There is no Shelter in Place for them.
