My mother was in room 110 in Passport rehab at Hebrew Center for Health and Rehab. During her stay she was treated by amazing staff who cared about her. The nursing staff was beyond attentive to her needs. If you need a place to recover after surgery this is the best place in CT to go. Thank you for taking such good care of my mom. I owe you everything.

Penni has been more than generous , caring and loving even when I'm feeling bad Penni can bring back my hope and confidence. Even when I thought I could never possibly get into assisted living and was in a state of despair Penni said the uncanny works "soon you will be in your new home and I will come visit you:. It's never easy to be in a healthcare facility but at Hebrew the nurses make me feel special.

My mom went to the Hebrew Home after coming from the hospital. All the nurses and the staff members treated her well. They were very attentive to her needs. They were very kind to me also, when I came to visit my mom. They were sweet and kind. I recommend the Hebrew Home to anyone, they treat the patients and their families like family.

Some of the staff is helpful But Most of the staff is Incredibly Rude. They talk down to you
Leann Ramos got annoyed that I had asked her a question Admissions Coordinator. I wasn't allowed to leave the building like I was a prisoner. I asked about activities to do no one ever got back to me
They wake you up when your sleeping. You only get 2 choices for food. Apparently the only patients they want are people that don't even know what their own name is. Thinking of staying here Don't

When we were asked to select a rehab center for my mother , there were many options to choose from. The Hebrew home was recommended and we haven't been disappointed in the short term care that our mother has received thus far at this center. The staff from Brittany,Nurse Sheena, Chris OT , AK and all of the staff have been responsive to our virtual request for daily information, visits, future planning and reassurance that our mother was receiving the best care. We also have been impressed with the
directors Roberta's timely response to our after hours call for information. From a patient perspective, my mother similar to other reviewers has expressed dislike for the limited menu.

My aunt is a current patient at Hebrew Health Center and I would not recommend anyone take their love ones to this facility. Due to the virus you have to schedule for your 15 visit that takes place outside, that is not the problem. The problem is you can never speak with those in charge of scheduling the appointments. My aunt had to be hospitalized With in a week of being there because no one was listening to her concerns. While she was out they changed her room and did not know what they had put her personal items. Now they want to move her again and no one can tell us why. It isn t a payment issues because they are getting paid in full for her stay by her insurance. My daughter had to call 5 times before she found some one to speak to and that individual was not able to provide any helpful information.

I've waited a while before writing this review. I'm perplexed because my mother in law was treated kindly but my father in law was not. He was often left alone. His room was frigid cold and when he needed help going to the bathroom no one was in sight. He was at HHC for palliative care and hospice care however HHC staff felt my father in law was no where near palliative or hospice care and treated him as short term rehabilitation. I was confused that they would think he was there for rehab. when his discharge papers from the hospital plainly stated palliative care. He was admitted on Sunday and died the following Sunday. He's been gone for almost 2 weeks and no one from HHC has reached out to my family. The only person we talked to was Mr. Terry Flowers who we called two days after to pick up his belongings. Mr. Flowers was the only person that assisted us whenever we couldn't get a hold of anyone else. When we called him to tell him my father in law had died, he was sorry but no one else expressed a word. I figured by now they know of his passing and still no word. I am very disappointed and angry that my father in law did not receive the same level of care as my mother in law care especially when he was much sicker and I told them why he was there. I'll give one star and it's for Mr. Flowers who was the only one who truly cared and listened when we called for his help.
