Diane Torres and Mary-ann Vesti were rude and uncompassionate when handling my Grandmother's reinstatement back into their facility after she was hospitalized due to a UTI that occurred under Ozanam Hall's care. It's a shame that they are the face of admissions and the first people you have to "deal" with during such an emotional time. Diane Torres wouldn't event meet with me in her office, but instead rolled her eyes and berated me in the public parlor room in front of guests and residents as I was just trying to plead my grandmother's case in tears. This all happened while Sister Joseph Catherine and Sister Philip Ann were on vacation. When I called to speak with them, the Sister in charge made it very clear that it was "key" to pay the bed holding fee that is over $500.00 per day. This is quite contrary to the Carmelite Sisters beliefs and dear Mother Teresa when caring for the elderly. I hope that his information can help others who are in such a trying and emotional time of their lives as I was when I had to put my loving Grandmother in a long-term care facility.
