I had an outstanding experience at Hakkasan Nightclub, but it was mostly due to the DJ (NGHTMRE) rather than the nightclub itself. Despite the cover charge online or at the door, a promoter got us (a group of 2) in for free and didn't have to wait more than about 10 minutes. My main complaint would be lack of places to stand comfortably or sit even if you weren't on the dance floor. Although, I suppose they want the place packed with minimal seating. As expected, drinks were very expensive and lines were long. I preferred Marquee or Tao if we are purely judging on the club itself: both are more spacious with more options of things to do. If you aren't at Hakkasan to dance, you may be at the wrong place. There is also a lounge below that is not for dancing, which was nice, but it was still pretty loud for a lounge. Overall I enjoyed my time there and would go again, but would choose Marquee or Tao over it given the choice.
