Great views of the bay, the city, and of Alcatraz prison. If walking, the east side of the bridge is open to pedestrians and bicycles. If biking, both sides are open to bicycles. Both pedestrians and bicycles are protected from traffic. If driving, leaving the San Francisco area is free, but they do have a toll plaza when entering. They have a gift shop and a snake area. During high traffic area they open more lanes by using a zipper device that moves the barricade in the middle of the bridge over, effectively changing the number of lanes each side has.
