We have ordered a dining table and TV cabinet. Both damaged and the leg does not fit under the table. I sent photos and got an appointment 6 weeks later to have a service engineer see if it can be repaired. I now have double furniture in the living room, I wanted to return the TV furniture because it does not have the quality that we expected from Goossens furniture and I do not want to sit with 2 TV furniture for 6 weeks, so we are now going for 1.5 hours drive to avoid 80 euros pick-up costs.
A new table or TV unit is only offered if a service technician has been present, while I think it is already clear from the photos that the leg will not fit without drilling. Also, a screw is sticking through the dining table top, but still they make you wait so long.
Goossens, why do you not have an exchange guarantee for new products and does a service technician still have to pee (after photos of the defects)? This would prevent a lot of frustration for customers.
