I am a single person from QLD on holiday in Perth and decided to go out for dinner near where I was staying. It was Valentine s Day and I decided I wasn t going to sit in my room and sulk... I was going to go out and have a nice meal. I chose Tao after my original choice was booked solid. I went in and asked for a table for one and was met with a very judgemental look from the waitress and a large sigh as she looked for a place for me to sit. When she sat me she didn t give me a menu and I tried for 10 mins to get someone s attention just to get a menu. I ordered a Gyoza entree and a laksa main.After ordering the food arrived quite quickly, however the main arrived before the entree. The laksa was an absolute ridiculous size, pretty much a bucket. It didn t even look like I had touched it by the time I finished. Monumental waste of food if I didn t ask for it to be put in a takeaway container (which also seemed like a massive effort for them). The food quality was also lackluster considering the price you pay (chicken in the laksa definitely not fresh).
