We've been clients of Vacations to Go for a few years, and also a few friends, from different states, have also used them and have had great experiences.
They are there when you need them to resolve problems. One extreme example was friends of ours had a flight delay out of Ohio to Bucharest; the agent at that time, Quentin, (we are now working with Briton, who is also very helpful and great to work with) worked hard to get different flights out of Ohio, to New York, and connecting flights to Bucharest. From what they told us, it was a lot of nail-biting, but they cannot speak enough about how Vacations to Go worked hard to get them to Bucharest, in less than 24 hours. Quentin also made adjustments on Optional Excursions, etc., making our friends happy at what was done on their behalf. The tour director on that tour was very knowledgeable and great.
Our current agent, Briton, seems to be in the same mode as Quentin was: Very responsive, both when we were searching for tours, as well as answering various questions that arose.
Our last 2 tours this year - one in April for Italy and another in Canada Rockies in September - were also well-handled. During the Italy tour, I had an issue with one of the local guides, and the tour director handled it quickly to our satisfaction. On the Rockies tour, some 'challenges' came up, and the tour director also handled it quickly and without us missing anything. A few years ago, we had a Cambodia/Vietnam tour, and that tour director was also great. You may call it lucky, but we've been fortunate in having great tour direcctors that resolves problems quickly, and in some cases, avoid problems entirely - plus very knowledgeable and ... available practically 24/7, even giving out cell numbers, which also came in handy one time when we were 'lost' on our own.
