The first few experiences I had were great but I went for a pedicure and got the worst staff infection in BOTH feet. It was painful and I had to get antibiotics from a Dr. The owner was rude and shady about it, denying it could've come from them, though the doctor I saw said it was in fact because Lauren clipped the cuticle too close and the basin or tools were not properly cleaned. I asked for a refund to help pay for the incurred Dr visit and prescription and I was very disappointed in how the owner Joe handled the situation, telling me I had to sign a legal document saying it was not their fault and I had to pay to have that notarized before they would refund me. I was afterward treated badly and with disrespect by the stylists there when I went with my mom to get her hair done. They were awful to me in this situation where I was a victim of getting an infection from their poor practices. I strongly urge everyone to not take the health risk of going there. This franchise is untrustworthy and doesn't deserve the Aveda name. Go to Ten Salon or another trustworthy high quality salon, do not waste your money or risk your health and dignity here.
