Its a fun experience for those that have never been. If you have the opportunity to camp out, I recommend doing so. The drive from San Antonio to the festival took about 2 and a half hrs. So plan on leaving no later than 830am to get there with enough time to enjoy the shops, shows, rides, games and more!
Staying until 4 or 5 pm was Plenty of time for us to see all that we wanted to see and arrive back home aroind 830pm, of course one can stay much later as the night brings on a whole different side to the fair!
