Rio has to be one of the most relaxing hotel casinos in Las Vegas. It is located off the strip right behind Caesars Palace on the west side of the I-15 overpass. Every room is a 500-600 sq.ft. suite. Acres of free parking and breathing room. All the amenities of any strip hotel without the traffic jams, tourist crowds and inconveniences of trying to navigate the strip on foot or otherwise. I spent NYE in the Voodoo Steakhouse on the 50th floor and had a wonderful dinner and fantastic view of all the fireworks shows on the strip and a great NYE without leaving the hotel. Rio is my no. 1 choice in Vegas!
