My first experience at the salon was disappointing...

My first experience at the salon was disappointing. I was left waiting for a very long time for a cut after highlights as the staff were busy with others. I intended to book in with another stylist as a result but did not find the time and so booked in again ahead of a holiday. At the last minute on the morning of the appointment, the salon called and canceled on me as the stylist was out ill. I had two appointments, one for colour and one for cut. The salon did not offer for me to come in for at least one of the appointments, again the two services I had signed up for would have been delivered by two separate stylists. Now I am going away in two days time and hair not done. I have a three month old baby and planning to come in to the salon is difficult at best. This is incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional. The salon should be able to simply cover for a stylist that calls in sick on the day. I will not be going back this time.
