I would think twice about booking this again. We wanted a one day/night getaway with a pool. The sand bottom and kids area was appealing. At $250 a night I was expecting organization and class. My room was DOUBLE beds, it was supposed to be a suite but we were told our reservation was overbooked. We have three adults and 4 children...in a room with two double beds. There was also no microwave in this room. Very disappointed with the lack of accommodation. You also have to pay for parking at $10/day to self park. The pool is as far away from the hotel as it could be, but walking kids to and from is extremely inconvenient. When you get to the pool, there are used towels and trash everywhere, no where to sit because of it, and the crowd is ridiculous. Rather a low class, trashy crowd. Kids were fighting over pool and float toys we brought. There are no showers by the pool to shower off the sand before you walk back up to your room so you drag the sand up with you. Also not enough shaded areas for little ones to take a break from the sun from. We ate breakfast outside this morning, the dining area is next to the smoking area so I ate my $22 buffet while inhaling an ashtray. Also they allow smoking in the pool area so consider that. Probably stay here twice or recommend it to anyone. For Scottsdale, you can do better.
