If you currently have any dogs in your household that are not "altered" according to Vicki, you won't be approved to adopt a lab. Sad part is I adopted a lab from this organization over 10 yrs ago and that lab was with my current unaltered lab with no issues at all. It would be appreciated prior to an adoption fee a criteria is provided so that you are better informed in order to apply for an adoption or not. Seems like an easy way to get 25 bucks from someone who can genuinely adopt a lab and give it a great life but then get turned down over the fact that I don't plan on neutering my lab for my own reasons and don't plan on breeding him either. Oh well I guess I can just buy a lab or puppy and start all over again if that is the case.
