I went to a Kmart for the first time in years today, when I went to check out there were only 2 cashiers. I got into the shorter line, and stood there for 40 minutes. The patron in front of me got into an argument with both the cashier and the store manager, Cindy, when they refused to give her the advertised deal of but one get one free because it did not ring up properly. I was in a rush to get out of there by the time I was up to pay. I grabbed all of my things, payed, and started walking to the door. I looked at my receipt and realized that there were 3 items on there that I was overcharged for, a total of $18. When I tried to bring it up to someone, I was directed to the customer service desk with another line of probably 15 people. I left because standing around for another 45 minutes over $20 seemed too tedious and I was already heated. I am absolutely disgusted by the terrible levels of customer service and will never return to any Kmart or sears after today's experience. I feel robbed of both my time and money and there is no way that this incompetence should be allowed.
