Woah! I totally had to rewrite my review of my experience here at UCSD in La Jolla after I had been admitted. IT'S LIKE THEY COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT ME! I saw 6 - count them 6 - doctors before ever reaching my bed on the 3rd floor. Although the ER experience was excellent and nurse Maricris in the ED was wonderful, all else was horrible. The doctors didn't stick to the recovery and pain management plan written on the white board next to my bed (can't even remember what my doctor even looks like at this point), I told them what works and doesn't work on me - they continue with courses of action that are a waste of time. It's like they're trying to pad the bill for when they bill insurance. Unreal. I thought UCSD was here to take care of me. Nothing but issues at this ER, not to mention the entire Hillcrest facility.
