1st time visiting The Statue of Liberty and I love...

1st time visiting The Statue of Liberty and I loved it. On the way over we had nice sunshine and one the way back stormy rain. The contrast was great. Before the boat ride it took about 45 minutes to get our prepaid tickets exchanged for a hard copy they make you use.

The climb up the Statue was enjoyable but if you don t like tight spaces I don t recommend going to the highest point in the crown... which cost extra. I loved it, a tight spiral staircase we enjoyed the top alone for about 5 minutes. It s 20 stories high at 260 feet to the crown. The view is really limited in the crown compared to the main look out area. Very fun experience!
