Google My Business support does not reply to email...
Google My Business support does not reply to emails even though they say they will. They do not call even though they stated that the specialist team will call. They did not follow through on a promise to restore reviews within 7 days.
This is not to disparage the actual support reps. They, I think, are operating off a script. They are polite and respectful.
Our issue has been ongoing for 2 months. We have been very patient and respectful throughout the process. On April 14 GMB support finally determined we were right and restored our pages. But over 105 reviews from 1 page had been merged with a different page. GMB support promised to restore all reviews to the proper pages within 7 days. Seemed like a long time for such a tech savvy company but
After waiting patiently for 8 days I called them again and was informed they would escalate to the team that handles that task. Now on April 25 the reviews still have not been restored. So I, once again got in touch with them by phone. And once again I was told the specialist team is working on it and I will be contacted once it is resolved.
It seems to me that Google would have a system in place to accomplish this feat with just a few keystrokes. I don t think any reasonable person believes otherwise. But that would mean when they tell you the team is working on it they actually are not.
