We had a wonderful holiday at the Golden Coast Hotel. Unfortunately, many rooms and facilities are a bit outdated and dusty. Especially the indoor pool in the spa does not work. The outdoor area is a bit neglected on some corners. The public areas like the lobby or the restaurant look good; they are probably renovated. At dinner you need strong nerves: The live music is a bit ... experimental. And you should be careful that one of the (very cute) cats does not steal anything from the plate. The hotel itself is quite out of the way and off the beaten track, but there is a bus that runs around the clock to Protaras and Ayia Napa. That sounds a bit negative, but the holiday was beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. There are exceptions everywhere. A rock-solid holiday hotel!
