Claude Junior Review of Carter Express, Inc.

Hi my is Claude Ridley Jr. I worked for Carter Express for nearly ten years. I ended up getting fired on June 17, 2018 because I filed for worker's comp. benefits in Knoxville, TN with the Bureau of Workers Compensation on June 18, 2018. Carter Express fires me while I'm out on FMLA because of the accident I had at work on 2/2/2018. They don't even put the letter to terminate my employment until about a week after me filing for workers comp. benefits. My primary care doctor Dr. Dillard had to call my boss Vick Riley who is the OTR manager at the terminal in Andersonville, TN back in March and told her that she does not feel that it's safe for me or the population to begin driving. But Vicki Riley and Carter Express still make me go on FMLA for the work accident I had on 2/2/2018. It's not really safe for people to be driving a 80,000 pounds semi truck while having white matter strokes but Carter Express has nearly always treated everybody that got hurt at work for them the same way. Which I didn't realize that until it was too late for me and I should've realized that before because around five years ago my car was parked at the cross dock at Carter Express and a truck driver their hit my car with a semi truck will backing out. When I got back that day I noticed the damage. Which you couldn't miss with the drivers side window shattered and a big dent in the door. So I had to myself figure out who hit my car because nobody reported it. So I stood outside and looked at all of the Carter Express trucks coming in and out and the ones at the yard their also. I finally come across the truck that hit my car. The reason I could confirm that was the truck which hit my car was because all the marks lined up from my vehicle to the marks on the semi truck. Even after I found out who was responsible Carter Express denied to claim the accident on their insurance. I had to pay the deductible and it took nerely a year to get payed back. Carter Express claimed the accident happened on private property and that they shouldn't be responsible. The reason I told this story is just another experience I've had with them. The owner of Carter Express John Paul is a ruthless man. The only thing he cares about is himself and no one else. Carter Express has Nova Medical in Knoxville, TN to release me in March. Dr. Jack King lies and says that Optimus Physical Therapy in Jefferson City, TN released me but they never did. Carter Express has Derinda Upton who works as their work comp. case manager to call Optimus and tell them that I wouldn't be coming back for physical therapy. Dr. Jack King puts in his medical records that I was released by Optimus which is a total lie because in Optimus's medical records it says that Derinda Upton requested me to be released from physical therapy. Which John Paul even fired this one woman that worked their because she couldn't get her cdl renewed because she had a accident at work where she went off an overpass and broke her ankle and was put on medication that prevented her from driving a truck at the time. Which now she's back to work but not driving a truck until she gets better because of me mentioning that incident to OCR. Back in March when Carter Express has Nova Medical to release me back to full duty they all knew everything about my medical conditons but chose to do nothing. Carter Express and Nova Medical could've prevented me from having the acute heart attack on 2/11/2018 and all the white matter strokes but they chose to risk my life and save money. On 2/7/2018 I started going to Nova Medical because Carter Express wouldn't allow me to go anywhere else like they are suppose to do and give you a list of doctors to chose from. They do so because they knew about my medical conditions because they had my medical records from the ER visit on 2/2/2018 that mentions the occipital hematoma, impression in my skull, brain injury, TBI with lose of consciousness, neck and back pain injury, etc. Which even on 2/2/2018 I should've been admitted but I wasn't because it was work related. Sincerely, Claude Ridley Jr.
