Completely UNREASONABLE when it comes to returns. ...

Completely UNREASONABLE when it comes to returns. Picture ID, credit card, name, address, receipt. Not to mention it took 20 minutes and two aggravating managers to interpret their "standard" return policy this way.

Do you really need another stressor in your life?

Jeez, guilty until proven innocent. What is this, Draconian Law?

Saks Fifth Avenue's sales staff was pushy and unhelpful when trying to make the initial purchase too. Despite requesting specific (on display and in stock!) products multiple times, sales staff continued to push another irrelevant product of little interest, and push another sales associate from another area. Most people would rather be helped by the sales associate of their choosing and I personally do not feel comfortable with any part of this type of customer "service."

As mentioned above, staff and management were clearly useless during the return phase of a product. It is worth noting that after 20 minutes and many headaches, they did eventually honor the return policy.

So yes, they do carry nice items (at rediculous prices), but it's nothing better than what's available elsewhere. Their customer service is vastly inferior to their competition.

With such infuriatingly irritating staff, you may as well consider purchases final, and you may as well consider going elsewhere. I know I will.
