The zoo is pretty pricey for admission, plus if you want to ride the train or carousel, it's an additional charge. I know there was an extreme amount of money spent to renovate the zoo, and dont get me wrong, it is very clean and kept up nicely but there was a scarce number of animals considering the number of exhibits. That was very disappointing. All of the gift shops and food vendors were closed and the only place to buy drinks was a vending machine.
