Bought a Lenovo Y50 UltraHD Touch from Lenovo (their website) - came in, laptop looked beautiful and worked great for 3 weeks!! Then one evening I go to use it and *poof* something fried and a cloud of smoke comes out the laptop. - No worries, I purchased the extended warranty with accidental protection.
Now enter Lenovo Customer Support!

Absolutely Horrible!

The first guy I talked to, "Mario" couldnt do anything, couldnt initiate a repair, a replacement, nothing!! Told me he is going to create a ticket, escalate it and a case manager will get back to me within 3 business days...

Well its been over two weeks, I have called many times and get the same response. I spoke to Erin, Roger, Selene and Joy.

As time continues the product purchase date is moving further away diminishing my ability to return the product for a full refund....

So rewinding back to the initial reason for this review - Bought a brand new laptop (Lenovo Y50 UltraHD Touch), that died after 3 weeks, bought the extended 3 year warranty with accidental damage protection in which the contract explicitly states you get "IN HOME SERVICE WITHIN 4 HOURS.... IF THE PRODUCT CAN NOT BE REPAIRED IT WILL BE REPLACED."

Just so everyone is aware - Lenovo will try to repair the laptop at any cost - that literally means waiting for someone to mine some copper ore and silicon to create whatever circuit board is required before they replace it. YOU WILL BE WAITING FOR WEEKS.
