Gorgeous grounds and beautiful palace. However, there are many issues with the staff or overall management. Here's some tips to help you through the palace.

First problem was with the line to get in. We had heard about the line from prior reviews, so we bought our tickets ahead of time. Since we figured the wait was to buy the tickets we didn't do the reserved time tickets(meaning you have to be there within 30min of your ticket entry), which would have allowed us to bypass a line to get into the palace. However, when we got there, the line was just to get in the place. It would have taken about 2 hours to get in. We decided to buy reserved time tickets while we were in line, which meant we skipped the entire line. TIP: buy reserved timed tickets. If you know the time you're going to get there, buy them the day before. the day you get there to maximize your time

Second issue is with the audio guide. This is a VERY small issue, but it's about not including a headset with the guide. This meant you held up the guide to your ear throughout the palace. Our arms were sore by the end. TIP: bring headphones for the audio guides.

Third, do not eat at the Angelina restaurant. We were hungry, so we waited for a table at the Angelina in the palace. That was about 20min of waiting. Once seated, they took our order fairly quickly, but then forgot about us. No food, and our water had long run out. About 30min later, a waitress said our food would take another 10 minutes. It wasn't a complicated order, a clung sandwich and a Caesar salad. Even before the waitress told us about the delay, we thought about leaving. Once she told us, we just walked out. TIP: don't eat at the Angelina restaurant, and instead try to make due with the snack stands they have. Or, if you get out to the the Flottille restaurant out by the canal. It is much cheaper and a better selection of food.
