My partner and I were so disappointed with our stay at Wildwood. We stayed in the Jacuzzi King Suite. As soon as we got into the room we noticed a few small blood stains on the comforter. Someone from the front desk came up and changed it pretty promptly, however. At 11:30pm, when we were already in bed, the front desk called and said we would have to switch rooms in the middle of the night (we were only staying 1 night), because they thought our jacuzzi might be leaking into the room below us. When I explained that this was a huge inconvenience and we were already in bed and asked if we could receive some sort of compensation, they said nevermind, we no longer had to move. The next day at 10am when we were enjoying our last hour in the jacuzzi, a maintenance person knocked on the door and said he had to look at it because of the leak. We got out of the jacuzzi and called the front desk. The maintenance person left, but it was yet ANOTHER inconvenience for our 1 night and 1 morning at the hotel. When we checked out we explained all of the this to the people at the front desk. They quickly placed the blame on the maintenance person for the last incident and said it was because he was Russian. They then only offered a half-hearted I m sorry, and offered no other compensation or accommodation. This is horrible customer service and inexcusable behavior, ESPECIALLY for a hotel that claims to be an upscale boutique.
