Worst Customer Service on the Planet. This review...

Worst Customer Service on the Planet. This review is solely on Vivint Solar's customer service. We leased solar panels from Vivint Solar. In mid-August, Vivint was notified of the pending sale of our home and that the buyers would assume the lease. An Assumption Agreement was sent to us and the buyers. No one from the Vivint Transfers department or the title company took responsibility for making sure the Assumption Agreement was signed at the time of closing on August 24. Three weeks later we started receiving emails from Vivint stating that our account was past due. That's because the buyers never signed and returned the Assumption Agreement. Vivint didn't follow up with the buyers until September 10. After numerous, very lengthy calls with the Transfers department the buyers finally returned the Assumption Agreement. Vivint's call center is handled by people in the Philippines. Besides the fact that their accent makes them hard to understand, they do not seem to have the knowledge or authority to resolve any issues without having to constantly put the customer on hold so they can consult with "the team leaders." Very frequently, I was given incomplete or incorrect information because the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. At one point a representative told me that the transfer issue was closed because the buyer had failed to respond ,and we were still financially responsible for the lease! Because we were still on the hook for the lease, we made a payment to bring the account current even though we no longer owned the property. When asked if that payment would be refunded, I was told no, because the buyers hadn't signed the Assumption Agreement until September 16 and so they weren't responsible. Incredible. We will NEVER do business with Vivint again and we would never recommend anyone doing business with them. I would give them negative stars if that were possible.
