Beautiful day nice hike up to the top with panoramic views of all the Burroughs in New York.
DO NOT take metal refillable water bottles, back packs or food. You will need to pay for lockers if you do. Lockers are $2.00 per hour cash and don't work well!!!
Plan on 2 hours for Ellis Island and 2 hours for Liberty Island minimum!!! We missed Ellis Island because we didn't allocate the proper amount of time:(
