Doctor Garber and the New York Bariatric Group are amazing and helped changed my life. I had the Reshape gastric balloon and lost over 30 pounds in the first 7 weeks. His staff and nutritionist are extremely helpful and always available by phone or email. If you are considering any weight loss surgery or the gastric balloon definitely use Dr. Garber at the New York Bariatric Group.

Before the procedure I attending one of his informational seminars which was very informative.

One of things that is awesome about the New York Bariatric Group is that they have a virtual health portal setup for patients to do their aftercare appointments. You just make your appointment online with the nutritionist and at the time of my appointment tI logon and click a link and I am connected to the nutritionist. This makes thing much easier than having to drive to New York Bariatric Group offices.

The first few days after the balloon placement it was little uncomfortable but the physician assistant Donna called me everyday for the first few days until I was feeling better without me even having to reach out to them.

Whenever I email Dr. Garber he responds to my emails very quickly, even late out at night. He even once responded to an email I sent him when he was away in Australia.

Dr. Garber has performed the most Reshape balloons in the country and told me that he actually teaches all of the other surgeons in the country.
