Excellent for a day trip. Parking is $12 at the Science Center but entry is only $2 per person. Carpool or take the Metro which has a stop in Exposition Park. They have the usual space and aerospace museum as well as the Space Shuttle Endeavor on display.

Until January 2019 they have the King Tut exhibit which opens an hour earlier during summer. Tickets are extra for the exhibit. They also have a King Tut IMAX movie to go along with the exhibit. It sold out on the Saturday we went. Go early and avoid the crowds!

They also have a nice gift shop, additional IMAX movies, and good food offerings. Pizza, tacos, sandwiches, and burgers as well as salads and a conveience store.
