Booked a get hitched package for a one night stay after being talked into it. I was looking for a stay with spa accommodations for a special event and this was the package offering all the aminities I was looking for.

The room was supposed to be upgraded. The room I received was basic, outdated, nothing special about it. The view was not glamorous. There was supposed to be a bottle of Prosecco and a box of chocolates on arrival, which never showed. There was s bottle of wine so included in the package , I couldn t even drink half , it was not of great quality. Bouquet of flowers which were also included, seemed throw together. The bed was super uncomfortable. Walls were paper thin. There was random calls to our room at 7:30 and 8:00, so no sleep after that. Also the streets below were very noisey with construction work that could be heard from the 10th floor!

The spa experience was another downfall. The spa was in the basement, it smelled of sewage. On arrival , a man and woman greeted us and rushed us into a small room that barely fit two massage tables. The massage therapists had to confirm with the front about 3 times what type of massage we booked for. By this time, the massage was 15 minutes late but still ended at original time, only receiving almost half of our allotted time. The massage therapist were awkward , it felt rushed, they kept bumping into us and each other due to the small workspace. It was noisey , there was nothing relaxing about the experience. The massage itself was probably one of the worst I have received.

Breakfast was served at the Chester. American breakfast served. I asked for eggs over easy , they came out well done. The plate of food was also cold.

Two stars because the waiters were very nice and accommodating, also the location of the hotel.

I was overcharged by hundreds of dollars and had to point it out several times at the front lobby before they fixed it. Also was charged random small amounts to my credit card throughout the night causing my bank to stop payments on my card due to thinking it was fraudulent charges, which have yet to be reversed !! How inconvenient.

Would not recommmend or stay again. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the many hotels nearby, which I have frequented many times and have had lovely experiences!
