Well I'm not sure where to begin. My salesman David Goetz could really care less about my family more on his commission, He sold me a dream from the start stating that our home would be done 8/26/18 even gave it to me in writing well to our dismay it was all a lie. Our home wasn't done until 11/2/18, and my children and I were homeless for a month. We were so let down by the lies and finger pointing that what was supposed to be a happy experience has been snatched from us.
I've reached out to supervisors and managers and no one seemed to be willing to realize that this was more than just a "new build" there were lives behind this construction and the more time went on the more out of pocket for us. They seemed to think that we wanted something for nothing and treated us as such when in fact our complete down payment was in months ago 7/13/18 to be exact. They did NOTHING to even show that they were apologetic even after I provided 3 different times the salesman told me in writing of an August date. My builder Ian Scott did a great job with our home but my salesman's bosses Brian Reves and Wesley Clark were more so focused on arguing and pointing the finger with my realtor vs picking up the phone and reaching out to me to see how we could make this situation better. If you are looking for a company that cares about people and not just money then don't waste your time. Southern Homes is not it and I'm going to make sure anyone that will listen I tell. Hope this helps someone avoid looking into their kids eyes week after week saying no not this week for 8 weeks in a row. Every time I relive this I cry.
