Classic, old school ski area with terrain for all. Mostly fixed grip chairs are the right choice for high altitude skiing when the wind kicks up. Steeps, bumps, trees, above tree line cornices, Loveland has lots of options even if the runs aren't super long. Food options are decent, and reasonably priced by, say, Vail standards. And close enough to the Front Range that you can ski the morning and still get most of a day at work, if you need to.
