I've had quite a few meals at The Friendly Toast in Portsmouth through the years. The Cambridge location does a good job of having a similar, eclectic vibe (more so than the Back Bay location). In our last visit, the server was particularly nice, like way beyond what you'd expect, particular in Boston. She was sweet, attentive and checked on us regularly, even though the place was bustling. The food was fantastic as well. I had a mushroom wrap, which sounded healthy, but I was fearful that it would not necessarily be tasty. Ooh, I was wrong! It was EXCELLENT.
