We were waiting in a line to get to the Vatican museum for like 2,5 hours. If you dont want to wait,then reserve your tickets and maybe the "skip the line" option would be great aswell. If you wait in the line outside,do NOT buy any tickets from other people,there are a lot of them trying to sell "skip the line" tickets,it is a scam,just ignore them. Other thing,you need to have your shoulders and knees covered,if you want to go to the Sistine Chapel or to the Basilica and again,do NOT buy any scarfs from others,they are buying them for 1 euro and selling them to others for like 15 euro. You can go to near street market,which is like 100 metres from the waiting line and buy the scarfs for 1 euro by yourself or just wear a t-shirt and long pants.
Otherwise,it was worth the wait.
