Just had my yearly exam with Dr Watson today. Last year was my first experience with Proeye and I was very pleased so continued with Proeye this year. While in what I call yhe testing room (a room off the waiting area where the technicians conduct several different tests on patients' eyes) Dr Watson came in holding a small item and asked a technician "what does that say?" Then he said "it says down. please tell all the staff again" and walks out. Please keep in mind there were 3 patients and 3 techs in this room at the time who all clearly heard/saw everything.
First and foremost, how amazingly unprofessional!! Correcting anything with staff should be done in private and with respect! It is humilating & embarrassing for any employee to be corrected infront of a customer and no employee should be subjected to that work environment...besides how uncomfortable it makes the customer feel to witness that! Not sure if Dr Watson feels superior over females, as it was a female only tech staff, or what the issue is, but he clearly needs classes in how to properly interact with his employees!! Made the appt for next year to get out of the office but doubtful it will be kept.
Update: Proeye's response to this public review speaks volumes. I shared facts, not threw out accusations, and they come back with "don't test the doctor". My freedom of speech is well protected. I am definitely permitted to speak the truth as it happened, good or bad, and that is what I did. Instead of coming bacl out and attacking a patient for reporting honestly on their visit maybe you should regroup and see how to improve so it doesn't happen again.
