I and my son had plans to visit the Lexus dealership in Towson, Maryland to look for a replacement vehicle for me. He lives in Pasadena and I live in Harford County. So we decided to meet at the dealership.
However due to a accident on I 95 South I was delayed for more than 1 1/2hr as my son sat and waited for me to arrive. Little did I know that he and Shawn Isaac had already talked about the type of vehicles I possibly would want to purchase which included color, model and accessories.
When I finally arrived flustered and on edge Mr Isaac immediately made me feel welcome and put me at ease. This allowed me to concentrate on my ultimate mission which was to look at the SUV's I was considering for purchase. He acted as if I had been there all along asking me questions about what I wanted and really listening to my questions and concerns!
Thank you Shawn for waiting for me and showing compassion and great customer service courtesy.
Shawn Isaac hit the ball out of the park as he had two vehicles waiting for me to inspect and test drive just based on the conversation with my son!
Because of his excellent customer service and working with us to put me in the vehicle I really wanted I purchased a vehicle!
I have been in customer service for over 40 years and as a retired manager it is a pleasure to still see that courtesy, empathy and good dialogue with and for the customer has not become extinct.
