Even though it was a very crowded Sunday at the LA Zoo, the 4 hour visit was fun and interesting. We took our 4 year old grandson and he had a great time seeing the animals in each area of the zoo.
The lines at the concession stands moved quickly and many of the animals were quite active. The carousel ride was run efficiently and there are many picture opportunities.
Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and or hat/umbrella for sun protection. There was cool shade areas throughout the zoo, but it did get warm walking.
