It's a must visit in NYC. It's the boat ride, view, walk to pedastal. You can get a closer look at pedastal

The museum did a splendid job explaining the Genesis, travel, and modifications to see the liberty in current shape.

In summer it's crowded and the facilities are not sufficient to handle the crowd. Long queues everywhere for food, tokens, ride back and to boats. Could be improved but still not a lack to stop visiting
