We decided the best way to see the Golden Gate Bridge was to experience the mystique surrounding it by driving across it first, then to explore the other aspects. But, nature didn't cooperate and fog would allow only us partial glimpses of it here and there during our stay. So like the saying, 'when like serves you lemons make lemonade', so we did the best we could and enjoyed.
