My family and I (7 adults and 3 children under 10)...

My family and I (7 adults and 3 children under 10) decided to rent a car and spend the holidays in Pennsylvania and Chicago. In Pennsylvania, we stayed at the Grand Marriot and we were very well pleased. However, when we arrived at the Grand Sheraton in Chicago we were amazed by how beautiful the hotel was. Once we arrived in the hotel the pool wasn t working, and if you check the website you really have to search to see where it says that it wasn t working. So the kids were already upset. They also say you have a mini fridge in the room, but when you open it it s actually a mini bar, and you can t use it. So we had to put ice in a little trash barrel and put the children s food there. Since there were 10 of us, we got the connecting rooms, and one of the bathrooms there was a sink without a cabinet!!! It was really just a sink! It was an absurd. But ok, we moved on from that. On the next day, we went out the whole day, once we arrived in the room OUR BATHROOMS WERENT CLEANED! They just took the old towels and made our beds. They didn t replaced our soaps, shampoo, coffee, cups, anything (I have videos!), and they only put 2 towels on each room, being that there were 10 of us. So I called the receptionist, and I asked her politely to send us more. It took then 2 hours to do so, and they forgot to send us toilet paper, since there was none in our rooms. So I called them again to complain, and she forward me to talk to the manager, so I did. He was very rude and he said that he didn t know why the room wasn t cleaned. So, we have another shot, and on the next day they did the same thing. At that time, we were very upset. I mean, we paid almost 2 thousand dollars to stay 3 nights there, and we were treated very disrespectfully. The other thing that happened was with the valet. The valet was $69 a night, and we were driving a van (for 15 people), and they said that they couldn t find our car, they took us to the basement, and they couldn t find it, so they finally found it, which took them 30 min. The valet guys didn t even helped us out the bags inside our car! One of us was in a wheelchair, 3 children, 3 women, 1 teenager and 2 men. Overall, we had an awful experience at the Grand Sheraton in Chicago. We certainly will not come back. It is a very expensive hotel and you are not even treated right. I hope this review will help you in the future!
